I joined PreDental Club my Junior Year when my interest in dentistry first started. I’ve enjoyed working with the club to hear about DAT prep tips and for networking with Lafayette alumni in dental school! It has been a very helpful organization to connect Lafayette students interested in pursuing a future career as a dentist!

As a dental student at Tufts University, Kayla serves as a mentor and inspiration for many of the Lafayette pre-dental students! Kayla brings a unique perspective to dental school applications as she got her masters before her Tufts acceptance. She has been so helpful in answering questions we have about the admissions process, dental school, or the field in general!

This is Maddie's second year as vice president! She is always working to get the club more involved on campus and with the Easton community through volunteer opportunities. As a peer mentor on campus, she is a great resource for advice and guidance on how to gain leadership and finding your place on campus!

I joined the Pre-Dental Society my first year at Lafayette to meet people who were also interested in pursuing a career in dentistry. The club has fostered so many wonderful experiences to enrich my understanding of the pre-dental track, including conversations about DAT preparation, the application and interview processes, as well as what dental school is like! I’m very grateful to have met so many wonderful people!

I switched over to pre-dental towards the end of my junior year. The club members were not only welcoming but very supportive in offering me guidance on how to best prepare my application. By talking to the alumni I gained a better perspective on what a competitive application entails and how to make the best use of my gap year!

Since we created the pre-dental club, it has been an amazing source of support for me as I explored dentistry as a career and journeyed through the application process. We are so lucky to have such a rich base of dental alumni that are eager to help us, and I highly encourage everyone to take advantage of it. While the journey to becoming a dentist is not easy, we can all do it with perseverance and some help from friends, especially from those in the club who are going through the same things too!
